Here are two remarkable people that I worked with in Brazil at the AMAS (Associacao Methodista de Acao Social) program in Niteroi, Brazil. The tall man on the far left is Marion Way, a missionary and the Director of ICP. The woman to the right of him is the “remarkable” Cleonice Nery. She is the Director of Amas, which is a school and program for getting “street children” off the streets. Together with her vibrant energy and overflowing love for the children she has created a “safe heaven” and hope for these lost and abandoned children. It was my honor to meet and work with these two people over the 3 year period I was working in Brazil.
